I have iPhone 14 Pro Mac and have the Kate’s iOS version and latest version of the app. When I click any show, it is just circling but it never starts…

Even if the show starts fine, the audio goes more and more out of sync after every ad. So I watch the entire ad, then end the app, restart the app, restart the show, then turn off the subtitles (for some reason they always come on, no matter my last setting, and they are even worse out of sync, sometimes ahead of the audio/video by 2 seconds). After all this, the audio stays mostly in sync… until the next ad, then it loses sync again. And of course the audio is PERFECT during all the ads. Whatever they use to synchronize audio and video for the ads, maybe they should use that for the show, too?

The app just did a new update claiming to fix the problem of new content not appearing, this update did nothing at all the huge problem is still there. Have to keep deleting app and then reinstalling it every day just to find new content is a huge problem and I’m tired of it.

Ok the ads are way TOO long… and there isn’t a skip button and also guys why do my subtitles just disappear after an ad?

Make it ad free I’d be willing to pay for a subscription

I spent more time watching ads than the shows its self

I love that it’s free and the CW has some great original content but the lack of PiP is RIDICULOUS.

UR drowning us in ads! 2-2.5min of ads per break isn’t unreasonable- but sticking ur ad breaks in every time we come back to an episode, no matter if no ad break was there, is just plain greedy & ignorant. BTW, plz update ur app so it doesn’t keep starting at the beginning of an episode we’ve watched all or most of. U can do better

Initially got the app for one show. But now, it wont ever sync the new episode. I have already uninstalled the app and reinstalled it to get the new episode to show 3 times. Not only does this kill my desire to try out any shows on this app, Im not going to reinstall it for the show I did enjoy.

Takes forever to load when casting g to google chrome but plays fine when I disconnect.

Every week I try to watch an episode of all American on my iPhone 15 and there’s either no episode on here or I have to update the app and then it’ll pop up. Or it just won’t show up on my phone at all. But it will show up on my tv app at home. I don’t get it.

The app doesn’t give the channels. I have to erase the app and redownload it to have the channels populate.

The app has access to lots of content, but needs the ability to undock so that we can do multiple things on our phone simultaneously. Additionally, there should be a way to add shows to a watch list.

App worked great until all of a sudden I’m not able to get the latest episodes please fix this

I like the app for the most part, but the subtitles drive me crazy. When I go to an episode the subtitles are automatically on. If I leave an episode and come back or start a new episode subtitles are automatically on again. Once I am done with an episode, and it continues on to the next episode, the same thing happens. Is there a way you guys could make them stay off permanently or something like have a pop up menu with none, English, Spanish, maybe French… whatever languages are used most often.

New episodes still aren’t showing up. I see the new episodes on my Android phone but not my iPad. The app was updated a couple of days ago and still nothing.

Can’t turn off closed captions. Sent 2 emails and requested help. Got no reply. Disappointed.

This app genuinely makes me so mad, updates never work and the episodes aired are never there when supposed to be. It’s two days since Tuesday and the app is supposed to have each episode on the show at 8 pm on every Tuesday. The lack of updates is ridiculous.

Update: another week, another time having to delete and reinstall the app just to get it to show the latest episode of NXT. 3 weeks in a row I needed to delete and reinstall this garbage app for it to show the new episode I’m trying to watch. This app is trash.

I like their shows. However, the app needs work it’s full of ads that mess up how the shows play. I didn’t hear a scene so I rewinded and had to watch the ad again even though i just watched an ad. The ads also mess up the show, sometimes it starts skipping after the ads or the screen goes black for awhile then comes on. Also the ads are the same everytime

Ads play every 10 minutes with no way to get rid of them. Also, most of the newer shows are censored. Videos also pause when you are not in full screen.

Complete off the mark. If it bothered to review what I have watched then maybe it would be more accurate but it was shows and movies my best friend would have watched.

App is very slow when trying to watch something live.

I have to delete and reinstall this app at least 2 times a week. The channels all of the sudden disappear after getting into the app. I have waited up to 10 mins for them to load and still nothing comes up. Love the shows just wish I didn’t have to delete the app and reinstall it constantly.

There is nothing more annoying than having to fast forward on a different device

I see the playback error alert wayyy more than I see a whole episode.

App is working ok on my Samsung phone but only providing a dark screen on my iPad. iOS application not working

I wish there was an ad free version. However it’s a nice refresh not to have to log in, or have to create an account and all the extra. CW makes it super easy just to watch content.

This is horrible. There’s ads every two minutes. It’s also the same ads every single time you can’t even watch your show at this point you’re just watching ads. Do not download this app!!!!!!!!!

Sure would be nice if you could sign in and sync between devices

Ridiculous commercials. The same UTI commercial runs multiple times during the commercial breaks.

The CW app is terrible. When watching live sports you cant do PIP, cant rewind, and half the time the app just doesn’t work. Live is not actually live. I pressed play on the NASCAR battle cam and it says it was live on my phone then I put the same video on my TV and it was over a minute ahead and the race was already over. You cant mute the battle cam audio so you cant overlay MRN/PRN over top of it like you used to be able too. The Xfinity Series is not available to watch on the go which I often am. And it’s ridiculous in 2025 to need a OTA antenna to watch sports. Wouldn’t be so bad if it was actually free to stream the Xfinity Series like they said it would initially. So unfortunate that NASCAR ever bothered with the CW and I hope they come to an agreement to part ways soon. CW is terrible and NASCAR should be ashamed of what is happening.

I like to watch sporting events i.e. NASCAR xFinity, but I can’t pop out the practice & qualifying or the driver cams video feed outside the CW app while being in the NASCAR app at the same time. Please consider upgrading the app for this for both iOS and iPadOS. I can do this with the Prime App and YouTube TV apps with Cup coverage. Otherwise, keep up the good work with the XFinity series and CW Sports presentations. The graphics package and announcer teams are doing a good job!

I’ve never been so annoyed with ads before, i don’t even want to watch my favorite show because of these annoying ads, why in the world do you put so many ads and for 2+ minutes, atleast make them skippable

Really wish it would let you teeter between different devices so that you can watch the same thing from one device to the other, and it picks up where you left off

I really downloaded this app to finish up all American. So far it’s doing good. My only issue is the ads. I don’t have a or with some ads popping up here and there…BUT THE ADS ARE 3 MINUTES LONG! If you could just make the ads shorter I’d give it a 5/5

oh my God there’s so many ads. It’s insane. It’s like every five minutes. It feels like there’s an ad and then they’re three minutes long. It feels like it’s about 15 minutes of ads and 20 minutes of TV. Just go watch Tubi. They do it better.

Why can’t I instantly watch a replay of NASCAR’s practicing qualifying when I can do this on every other app so when do I get to watch this so if I miss it I can’t watch it. Is that what you’re telling me what a piece of garbage app

The app won’t show live NASCAR Xfinity races. It’s 2025, every other network app has live streaming for NASCAR racing except the CW.

Good afternoon, everyone Im writing this review to complain about these ads I know this app is free but the same ads keep playing and their so long this is unacceptable.

Ads and you can’t skip them you literally have to watch all the ads that’s unacceptable if I wanted ads I pay for cable

Why can’t I watch the races on the day the race is.

At least offer a way to buy out the commercials. This is a ridiculous amount of commercials and time.

At least 15 minutes of advertisements in this app per episode of my favorite show, all American. What a joke
